I’d like to apologize for not posting. I’ve been on a secret mission to an undisclosed location.
When you make encouragement your mission you have to be discreet about it. Often, people who suddenly find themselves in difficult circumstances have been let down by someone they love or have made an embarrassing mistake. Or they just don’t feel like advertising the problem they are courageously facing.
This leaves them alone and exposed, even if they are doing everything right. They don’t need armchair quarterbacks advising them or talking bad about those they love.
Discretion may be the better part of encouragement.
The worst thing that could happen is to find out that, on top of everything else, their trust has been misplaced and their privacy compromised.
Even if it’s done in the guise of sharing a prayer request.
Matthew 6:6
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
God always sees the trouble you go through in secret.
And He’s always discreet.
